Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Thursday, Evening; Friday, Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in a hospital setting License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with Siemens MRI Description: Department includes multiple MRI machines for patient imaging. Candidates must have experience in a hospital setting rather than a clinic. Experience with Siemens MRI is mandatory. Common imaging studies include various trauma evaluations. Average workload consists of around 38 scans/studies per day. Staffing includes a team during peak hours with reduced support after hours. Assistance is available on weekends, but solo work may be required. Clinicians must be able to start IVs as needed. Weekend and holiday coverage is part of the rotation. Call or standby may be required on a rotational basis. Scrubs are provided for the staff. Department-specific orientation may be included as needed.
