Job Description Job Overview: Poway Periodontics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical / Dental Assistant to join our specialized practice on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented clinical assistant looking to provide high-level patient care in periodontal and oral surgery.
Key Responsibilities: You will perform chairside assisting during periodontal and oral surgical procedures, maintain strict aseptic techniques, and execute infection control protocols. Additional duties involve exposing digital X-rays, preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, and providing post-procedure patient education.
Work Schedule: This position offers a stable full-time routine following standard office operating hours. Qualified candidates must hold valid California Dental Assistant credentials, active X-ray certification, and a commitment to surgical excellence.
full-time $22 - $25 per hour
Starting rate begins at $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
