Memorial Day used to be fun …. when I had the day off.
But since we moved back to California, Andrew has had to work that day fairly often, so I have volunteered to work the last few years (my office needs 3 people to cover the day).
It’s not terrible. I get extra days off (or extra pay), and since Andrew will be at work anyway, I don’t usually feel like I’m missing anything.
But this year, we headed up to Andy and Julie’s for breakfast (since Andrew and I had to be at work around 1:30p) and had to tear ourselves away while everyone else stayed to hang out… . We made the best of it and the morning (and food) was certainly fantastic!
Anyway, here are some fun photos of the morning….

I’m so glad to see that you love to cook, even though we didn’t have a lot of time for teaching at home. I’m amazed at how many young women I meet that don’t know how or are afraid to try. It really is almost becoming a lost art. Looks like a fun day.
