My project with Kam and Justine has been going almost 2 weeks – 30 Days of Lists is now on day 11 !
We are getting WAAAAAAAAY (way way) more participants and excitement than ever occurred to me ….
Note: This is where I thank Kam for having the idea and for asking me to help execute it. Girl, you are awesome!
For those of you who have not already clicked the button on the left sidebar <—-
30 Days of Lists is our encouragement and challenge to you that you CAN journal just something every day – even something as small as a list.
Every day through the month of March we will be posting a list prompt – anything from weekend goals to celebrity crushes. At the end of the 30 days you’ll have a collection of entries creating a small snapshot of your life right now.
Only 5-10 minutes per day are really needed. While you’re waiting for someone, or when you’re the passenger in the car. Download one of our kits so you have the topics ahead of time and just write.
That’s all.
Just write.
There’s no wrong way to do this and if you don’t like a prompt on a certain day, just change it.
The Flickr Group for 30 Days of Lists has been craa-azy busy …. SO many new additions every day. … I am so impressed with everyone’s ability to finish the list, take the photo AAAAND upload it to Flickr before noon.
I certainly couldn’t.
We have a Twitter hashtag set up so any tweets re: #30Lists we can all see!
It has just been so fun and completely amazing to help launch this community of journalers, storytellers, bloggers and all-around creative folk. All focused on a 100% do-able monthlong project.
Running 30 Days of Lists is making want to:
- Keep all my lists instead of just tossing them.
- brainstorm more challenges and projects for the creative blogging community. Y’all just get so into it!
- Get on Flickr more (so fun being part of a flickr group)
- comment on more flickr images
- get Andrew to make his own lists with these prompts. I’d like to know what he carries in his backpack every day, for example….
- visit all the links of all the sites of all the bloggers participating (not sure that’s actually possible)
- plan the next edition of 30 Days of Lists … with new prompts!
