I don’t drink. I just don’t like the taste of alcohol (and I can taste it in anything I’ve ever had) …. but Andrew likes to experiment and try new mixed drinks, so we kind of have a lot of alcohol in the house. He went through a ‘White Russian‘ phase … and now he’s on ‘Old Fashioned‘ (a la Don Draper). ….
So, we thought it would be fun to get a bar/buffet for our dining room ….
And look at the super amazing 196s vintage bar we found!!!
As it is several decades old, there are some scratches and a little bit of cracking …. but still in pretty good shape …
The middle part folds down to show this little cubby …
Made by Beautility (I love that ‘patent pending’ note in the logo)
2 drawers in the middle …. lined with that felt …
On either side is those sliding doors, above the tall cabinets (where the alcohol actually lives) ….
And the bar in its home. That pile of boxes has since been moved …
