I want to buy flowers.
I want to wear skirts.
I want to go on a bike ride.
I want to read Anne of Green Gables (all 8 books in one sitting, please).
I want to sleep with just a light quilt over me.

I want to eat fruit sorbet.
I want to grill fresh fish out on our patio.
I want to put my coats in storage.
I want to take a nap in a park.
I want iced coffee.

What do you want to do in springtime?

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday tiny Amy. Springtime makes me want to do all of the above and also to listen to records with big headphones on and the door open to the breeze. I want to go on long walks and I want to play soccer.
springtime in chinese medicine is the wood element, the color green. and sour foods…
Drink coffee outside in the sun, trade up sweaters and high-heeled boots for t-shirts and ballet flats or tennis shoes, eat ice cream, take long drives at night with the window down, listen to the Smashing Pumpkins song 1979 (but only at sunset), fall in love, lay in bed in the afternoon reading a book with the window open, stay up late talking with friends in the driveway of their parent’s house, feel restless, look for some trouble to get into…
Happy Birthday Amy!
Happy Birthday, Teegan!
In spring I want to buy flowers (which I did yesterday), open the windows, go on a day trip, garden, take a walk, sit outside for lunch.
When I was young in Ohio, I always looked forward to the first day that I could go barefoot. The ground was usually still a little bit cool on my feet, but I felt so free and excited for the new season.
Host friends and family for BBQs . . . we’re going to be inheriting some patio furniture soon, which will make that a lot easier
