Definitely nix the Rick Stevens excerpts. I care how you felt/what you learned about the experience, not what Rick Stevens wants me to care about/know.

It's always fun getting a peek into the lives of Those Crazy Schuberts. Because of you I'm excited that Menchie's may be coming to Arizona, and I have Mad Men on hold at the library!

I think I prefer a one or two column style for a personal blog, because I think people just want to scroll down through the recent stories and photos. This magazine style would be perfect for a separate craft blog though.

Also you might consider featuring more photos of Eleanor. I know that our traffic is directly related to the number of posts with Eleanor photos and/or stories. People can't get enough of that girl! Although maybe Andrew is your Eleanor, so maybe more adorable Andrew stories and pictures. Like getting him to go to bed at night or learning to use the potty.

I've told you numerous times that the Etceteras were my favorite - so why does only Linda get credit? (but I'll acknowledge that she's always been very wise) I like having a post with 15 different topics/ideas in it, and just following or pursuing the ones I find interesting.

Always love the pix, no matter the topic! (unless it's people I don't know, and then I can just let someone else enjoy them)

Personally, I glaze over at anything crafty- or decor-related. Skip right past 'em. And anything wedding-venue related, etc. goes into that category for me. Therefore, I recommend you splitting it off into another blog, so that I can ignore it completely (but people like your mother will still be happy).

And, while I enjoy your travel sections, I have to admit that they can tend to get lengthy. As much as I enjoyed reading about Italy at first...by the time I was in the 73rd entry, and realized that we were still on day one, I pretty much gave up. Sorry. (but you asked!)

Finally, I don't think you tell us nearly often enough about how amazing Andrew is. More! More!

I read it all...pretty much.

I don't usually read the "Rick Steve's" excepts just because I know I'll never remember what I read about anyway. I love the photos! I love it when Andrew blogs too.

Would be good to add "none of the above" and "all of the above" to some of the survey questions.

The only suggestion I have is to spread the Craft DIY links over more days. If there are a lot of them in one post, then I don't usually have time to look at them all and I never get back to it, even though I want to. Maybe just post one or two a day.
