We visited our friends in Oakland for a weekend ….. and I couldn’t stop taking pictures of their insanely cute apartment. It makes my heart hurt how much I love their little home ….
Take a look …
(I want a big big resting on the floor mirror like this, please)
And I need a cute little reading corner like this. I love the way the perfectly-placed mirror actually creates more light for this spot. Love!
Also, I love that they only have plain white mugs. Andrew and I love our coffee mugs, so we have quite a random, eclectic supply. But I love the classic, simple only white mugs while we were visiting ….
And the wood floors.
I am definitely going to need some help with decorating whenever we get our house ….

Wow this place is gorgeous! I want to steal that kettle sooo bad.
And the picture with a book tucked under the couch (five up) makes it seem like a home and not like a magazine spread (which it could be!). Too cute.
Wow! I love this place!
First of all, love her Christmas tree collection scattered about the home.
And I love the metal chair used for table display. I have one from Randy’s grandma’s estate. And I see them everywhere. They actually fold, which is so cool!
super cute!
Sarah > that’s funny! That book is actually mine! It’s true crime and SO does not belong in that house …
But it definitely is really homey.
I’m glad they let you take pictures!! This is a great-looking place!
love the retro/modern combo – can they come decorate my house???
Very cute place…someday you two will have one just as wonderful.
The teapot shot would make a great piece of art to hang in someone’s kitchen. Maybe a trio of teapot photos. Can you make that happen? How about one in apple or mint green and a nice cornflower blue? They’d look really nice over the kitchen window.
Ikea has a great large mirror with a dark frame for only $99 that I want to get.
We have a great mirror from Ikea, which comes in a few wood colors. I think it was less than $200!
Salivating over that vintage radio.
