One of Andrew’s co-workers is getting married in Paso Robles this April and I will be the wedding photographer. … Last Saturday they had an appointment at the venue, so Andrew and I drove up for the day (stopping by James Dean’s crash site on the way).
Have you ever been to Paso Robles? It’s wine country. When we turned onto the street where the venue is, it was just fields of grapevines in every direction … can’t wait to see it in April when they’re all green ….
When we arrived at the venue – Pear Valley Vineyards – at the end of the driveway was a hill, with a big tree at the top. We learned later this will be the ceremony location:
A few images of the reception room …. with a big window on one end ….
{even with the electric towers, the view is still gorgeous.}
Just outside the reception room, looking back down the drive way of the vineyard…
Just LOOK at this ceremony location.
Look.
Gah!
sooo gorgeous…..
The ceremony will be around sunset, with the sun setting behind the bride and groom, looking over these vineyards surrounding the area …
I CAN’T WAIT.

beautiful! can’t wait to see the wedding photos!
I think Fernando and I would have gotten married on the Central Coast if we had an unlimited budget and our families wouldn’t have complained about the drive. It is gorgeous. By the way, one of my sorority sisters (actually, my “Little Sister”) just got engaged over New Year’s. She and her fiancée are thinking of getting married in the Pismo Beach area in April 2011. I will pass your info along to her
Looks like a gorgeous location!
