New Year’s Eve with some of our favorite people!
Christian and Avalon.
We love them.
We got to their (cute cute cute) apartment in time for dinner and a movie before the ball dropped at midnight. …
The one thing Andrew and I brought to help liven up the festivities was a magnum of champagne.
It was given to us by Andrew’s boss as a Christmas present … but of course, since I don’t really like alcohol, there was NO WAY Andrew was going to be able to drink the whole thing by himself …
Apparently, it was a VERY GOOD champagne …

New Year’s Day we literally only left the house to go to lunch. Otherwise the 4 of us played many many games of Tetris and Shang-hai.
It’s like my dream vacation

Mmmm . . Veuve is the best. You can actually buy a champagne bottle stopper that preserves the bubbles. I have one because I love champagne, but Fernando doesn’t. I certainly can’t drink a whole bottle by myself either!
Happy New Year! We went to a little wine bar to hear a friend play and got home by about 10 pm. No midnight celebration for us, but that’s how we like it!
