One of my absolutely FAVORITE parts of our whole Italy trip was this lunch – arranged by Accidental Tourist as part of our day-long Tuscany excursion.
Homemade lunch. In a Tuscan private home. In the kitchen/dining area where this sweet woman entertains her own friends and family.
It was magical ….

I couldn’t even tell you all the different dishes we were served ….
But we started out … with my favorite: bell peppers
Bell peppers. Frittata. Pizza.
Mushroom lasagna
(my other favorite) homemade pasta. Delicious!
Tiramisu (heaven)
Rumor has it the best view is from the bathroom window (below)

Thus concludes our Tuscany excursion. It was sad to head back home. …. although ‘home’ that night was a b&b less than a block away from the Duomo in Florence so we survived ..

I agree with Angela, my heart hurts by not being there and living in that wonderful home. Thanks so much Angela and Devo for treating the wedding guests to that magical excursion. You guys are the best. Also, what a beautiful place to spend the day with Wife.
