23 December 2009 by Amy No Comment
  • Christmas is in 2 days!
  • Andrew is currently obsessed with making EggNog from scratch. Even though neither of us like it and we don’t have the appliances/etc necessary to make it (out of storage).
  • Man oh man I can’t wait to have a real kitchen again.
  • The fridge (little baby fridge) that we have will freeze our produce, but let our dairy go bad before the expiration.
  • So annoying.
  • REALLY make resolutions for 2010
  • Andrew and I both have tomorrow off work – hurrah!
  • Now, if only we had a kitchen so I could make snickerdoodles. … those sound so good to me right now .. .
  • some holiday DIY ideas if you are still not done …
  • Our DVD player broke, so Andrew’s dad gave us his ‘old’ 5 disc changer. So now I just turn it on and watch whatever is in it.
  • It’s kinda nice to not have to decide.
  • Oh, I am SOOO excited about this Elvis photo exhibit coming to LA in a couple weeks (there’s an article about it in the January Vanity Fair)
  • One more reason I love living in this city.
  • I love love love love love love love this chalkboard-wall-calendar
  • feeling crafty
  • I dug out my scrapbooking stuff the other day and it was almost like it was all new since I haven’t scrapped in years!
  • That’s what happens when you live in a storage unit.
  • 50 best design blogs
  • started a folder on my desktop of holiday decor ideas. I love the outdoor garland in this one
  • I actually have more than 1 TV show that I watch right now – 4 TV shows that I like to watch (although 2 of them won’t be on for months)
  • that is more than I may have ever followed at one time
  • But all 4 of them are Golden-Globe-nominated so I feel a little bit justified.
  • yum yum yum
  • another interesting idea for digital magazines
  • Last week I found the cutest older-neighborhood-with-huge-lots …. in the Woodland Hills/Canoga Park area. Still out of our current price range, but so so cute.
  • oh, I SOO want this … or something similar
  • I love the Muppets and I will always love the Muppets. But it makes me sad when the newer Muppet projects don’t have the same voices as the old ones. Sigh.
  • But I do love Pepe
