  • I kind of love this but it might be a little much
  • I have a Holga, so now I need this polaroid back!
  • small joys: Coffee-Mate changed their internal seal from an impossible aluminum/glued to easy-peasy plastic pop-top. hurrah!
  • get Seth Godin’s free ebook
  • the Barenaked Ladies played a show in the snow – and I love them for it
  • Andrew has ruined Glee for me. All I hear is the auto-tune now
  • 2+ years after their wedding, Christian and Avalon’s engagement photos are still being featured online (scroll down to last image)
  • christmas music makes me happy
  • this is some of the craziness we could be dealing with when we go house shopping
  • cute cute cute cute dresses!!
  • the grocery store by our house is so lame. Vons. Can I buy a house based on the quality of the closest grocery store? is that ok?
  • this looks interesting - the visual miscellaneum
  • I think I want to plant a pomegranate tree when we have a backyard
  • both excited and really nervous to start house hunting. I think I’ll probably get some more gray hairs.
  • Short sales and bank-owned houses sound scary but probably all we can realistically afford
  • I’m mostly excited to have a house so I a) can unpack my books. I miss them. and b) have something else to take pictures of/in
  • p.s. For Christmas, feel free to contribute to our downpayment fund or we-don’t-have-any-furniture-to-put-in-a-house fund
  • I am really (really) hoping by this time next year I’ll be planning some kind of holiday get-together at Team Schubert Headquarters
  • Andrew got us a space heater for home and it is miraculous. …. helps when we only have (cold cold) tile to walk on.
  • Plus there’s a timer! The other night we got in at 3a and crawled right into bed, while the space heater turned itself after an hour.
  • it’s the little things
  • saw Julie & Julia over the weekend – Meryl Streep is AMAZING. And I definitely have a crush on Amy Adams.
  • And I miss having a kitchen
  • Photo of the week (from a photoshoot you’ll see more of at a later date):

I got Julie & Julia for my birthday and I can’t wait to watch it again. Meryl & Amy are the best of the best. I love them!
Miranda told me last night that Glee got several nominations. (Emmy’s? Golden Globe?) Yeh Glee!
And check out the new show SING-OFF

House hunting could be scary, but definitely exciting. Can’t wait till you get a place of your very own and I can buy you stuff for your house.

So I’m told that you should always plant dwarf fruit trees because you can never use all the fruit from the full-sized ones and it’s hard to get up to the top to pick them anyway. What would you do with all that pomegranate? I’m thinking of going with lemons, limes, oranges, and maybe a peach or apricot tree. I like peaches because you can freeze them or can them to save for another time.
