{If you didn’t catch it, part one of the Christmas day post was earlier today}
In addition to all the eating, cooking, playing games and eating that we do when hanging out at the Schuberts’ … one of our favorite things is to tease play with the dogs.
And there were 4 at the house on Christmas day (Hazel, Buddy, Louis and Lucy LuLu).
Needless to say, Andrew’s allergies acted up a lot.
Since Katie and Joe didn’t get to the house until the middle of the afternoon, and Jenae left around 330p to have Christmas dinner with her family, we didn’t actually open Christmas gifts as a whole family until late.
(Jenae hadn’t come back yet, but) we gave everyone their mustaches – that were originally meant for the stocking.
I envisioned a big family photo with all the mustaches, but that didn’t work out. …. It was good for a laugh, though.
More photos at a later date.
My new favorite thing is to make Andy laugh so hard he can’t breathe, or to make him cry.
So for Christmas we made him a Buddy calendar ….. all kinds of tears. And he laughed out of embarassment …. and his laugh while he was crying sounded like this:
Ho Ho Ho!
Truly.
It was Christmas magic.
Around the dinner table, we got out one of Camille’s Christmas presents:
Andrew and I left relatively early, due to an early morning drive the next day and the fact that all the dogs were pretty much suffocating him ….
But it was lovely and relaxing and a great Christmas.
