- tempted to buy a blank unlined journal just to make myself doodle and write and make more art
- just an FYI in case you don’t follow the Teegan Photography blog – every Wednesday I post a short list of things that are inspiring me that week. Some everyday life stuff, some art stuff, some dreaming stuff. It’s always good to ‘replenish your well’ of creativity, so be sure you take a look
- 4th anniversary on Friday – my husband is the dang best
- According to Facebook, 2 of my friends this year dressed up as Mr. Incredible. Both are named Mike. hmmm …
- December Daily starting soon. I did it last year. You can this year.
- Saturday Andrew locked his keys in his car with the engine running. I went on the internet and learned how to tie a noose, so wire hanger (which we only had because we took our clothes to the laundromat yesterday) + shoelace + internet knot-tying diagram = breaking into the car.
- Not after I had already called AAA and activated my temporary card (now I’m a member for $50/yr).
- Someday I want to be able to write like Heather Armstrong – cracks me up!
- lovely luxurious cloth covered literature classics – they’re all so pretty! I want one of each …
- I wish I had more time to do garage-saling and other fun vintage treasure-hunting
- former NBA player gets ‘genius grant’ for his work in urban farming (awesome!)
- I posted this awhile back, but thought I’d remind you all – since it pertains to Holiday family photos just as much as wedding photos. Be authentic
- I feel a little bit bad about taking so long to post my Italy photos – and posting so many – but only a little bit
- It’s going to be a magical day when I have a desktop computer w/ 2 screens. Someday
- Thinking about exhibiting at a bridal expo in a few months – any ideas??
- I love multi-strand necklaces like this one and this one … and big drapey ones like this one or this one.Thinking about getting something maybe like this (love it) for our portraits next summer …. I bet I could find some at a yard sale or something, right? Although Forever 21 isn’t that expensive
- watching ‘Band of Brothers’ – I can’t wait to go to Normandy one day. I’ll probably cry the whole time.
- strange to not be trying to watch as many scary movies as possible
- Andrew has already started a list of good ones for next year.
- Got my new sample album for Teegan Photography last week – wait til you see it!
- The Hann boys were such cuties …. I won’t show you a current pic of them. It’s definitely not the same.
- Collecting soup recipes for fall – please leave your recipe or link to the recipe in the comments below
- Photo of the week:

I’m not kidding, I read that very Heather post not 5 minutes before I went to your site. I’m still laughing!
AMY! If you ever would like to go thrift shopping I will totally take you around. AND I’ve been looking through my closet, thinking about Buffalo Exchange and wondering when you would like to go trade in some clothes. Let me know when you are free, I’m always free on the weekends so just let me know and I’d love to go. I dont even know if you have my #, but you can always email me.
I have a soup recipe from Ginny that I’ll send you when I get home.
Sometime I need to scan some of your kindergarten and elementary drawings. They were really awesome! Do you remember?
I may try to do the December thing. We’ll see…
I think exhibiting at a Bridal expo seems like a great idea. When I was tabling at that Consignment Sale there was a children’s portrait photographer there. And her table seemed to get a lot of traffic. She had some canvas prints on display, but mostly I think all of the traffic was for the big flat screen monitor that was playing a slideshow of her work. People seemed to really like that, even though I don’t think her pictures were great. It was the screen showing the images really big that was the wow factor.
SO glad you joined AAA! It’s helped us out many a time over the years (especially at strange hours, or in inconvenient locations)…and it gives me peace of mind with the kids.
I find your not-so-subtle suggestion that my brothers and I are no longer as cute as we once were to be rather offensive.
I love gelato. Used to be a great place on Melrose…closed. Then one opened just up Bouquet from us (and your old house)…closed. Best gelato I’ve ever had? At the Venetian in Vegas (chocolate and coconut).
You DO realize that the more plans and schemes and “some days” you list…the more you sound like your mother, right? (And yes, Nancy, I probably mean it as a compliment…)
Oh, and in case you didn’t know: ANDREW IS THE BEST!!! (So I take it we WON’T be seeing you this weekend with T&K?)
