It is Labor Day and we are laboring ….

I hope you all enjoy your day off and BBQs or however else you are spending the day.

I wanted to remind you of one to see/get/buy the photos I take – and let you know of a new way as well.

Currently – You may access my personal photos by visiting Flickr.

In order to see all my images, you must:

1. Have a Yahoo! account
2. Login to Flickr and add me as a contact on Flickr.
3. If you are a friend or family of mine, I will add you as a contact so you can see all my photos.
4. You then have the option of downloading the high-res images (one-by-one) and having the images for personal use (only).
5. You would then need to use the digital files to have the photos printed by whichever printer you prefer

BUT!

If that seems like too much work from you, I am also starting to use SmugMug to back up my personal images (professional images are on there as well).

No sign-in or approval or manual labor is required, but you must purchase the prints or high-res images.

You can use any form of payment and they will be shipped directly to you (just like any other online photo printing).

The archives at SmugMug are currently very limited, but they will catch up eventually. And I intend for both sites to one day hold all my archives, including old film/slide scans.

Both sites are organized by date (categoried by year, and so on); both sites will eventually have all the archives.

The main difference is doing the work vs. paying for someone else to do the work.
