As I mentioned, there was a bit of a mix-up and Andrew and I (and Daniel and Jenae) didn’t realize we were invited to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner until it was already 1/2 over … but – since there was daylight and it was maybe our only chance to actually talk to some of the family while we were in town, and I wanted to see the layout to prepare for shooting the wedding – we went.
The wedding was to be held lakeside at a park ….
The ceremony site was set in the sand so the guests would be looking out over the water with pine trees in the background …
There were ducks milling around and grass and greenery everywhere …
We arrived just after the dinner and just as the rehearsal-proper was starting.
From Right to Left:
Kim (Andrew’s cousin; sister-of-the-groom; bridesmaid), Edmund (husband of Andrew’s cousin Heather; brother-in-law of groom and Kim; groomsman), Andrew (awesomest husband); Kaitlin (you really should know her by now; bridesmaid)
Edmund and Kim – walking down the will-be-there-tomorrow aisle to the ceremony site:
10 bridesmaids + 10 groomsmen + 2 flower girls + 2 ring bearers + bride + groom = ginormous wedding party.
Nichole – the beautiful bride …
Flower girls – Camille and Kimiko (nieces of the groom):
{alas, the ceremony did NOT end up like the rehearsal would suggest, but more on that later}
