- someday, when I work from home, Andrew and I are going to have the time/flexibility to do all kinds of fun stuff … can’t wait.
- my parents are in Colorado this week – you can read a little bit about our family vacations when I was growing up …
- I definitely need to do a photo shoot with Daniel and Jenae … they’re both extremely photogenic
- I’m working Labor Day and I have the choice of extra $$ or 2 days off (that week) …. what do you think?
- Busy Saturday coming up … I’ll probably be out of the house most of the day.
- Save Film at LACMA - I didn’t even know about this at LACMA, but if it sticks around I definitely want to go …
- Which reminds me – the cost of parking went up at the Getty again (now $15). Not a huge amount for 2 people, but I need to remember to check if there’s a bus I can take from home to there …
- I would like to go to Africa …
- for some reason I know at least one Jimmy Buffet song. Other than ‘Margaritaville’ …. not totally sure why.
- Mad Men
- I meant to use my new film cameras at the wedding, but I just ran out of time to play….
- why do some airports have free wifi and some do not? I never know what to expect
- our house is always full of music.
- Kaitlin found her wedding dress …. I’m not allowed to blog the pics I took, though.
- Shooting weddings wears me out.
- I know that it’s for the best, but I don’t like coming home to no food in the house.
- The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus – Terry Gilliam is usually a bit much for me, but I’m sure we’ll get this movie from Netflix.
- Also, did you see the trailer for The Lovely Bones? Looks good – but a lot more intense than I remember the book being.
- Andrew is currently reading The Time Traveler’s Wife
- Between the 2 of us, Andrew and I have very very few fancy clothes
- I really like fresh pineapple while I’m eating it, but as soon as I’m done the acid-aftertaste ruins food/drink for me for a couple hours …

What did you decide about Labor Day?
Wish you guys were with us on vacation. We could have lots of fun!
There used to be free parking lots not far from the Getty where you could park and take a shuttle, so no cost at all.
Love the wedding pic and the colors they chose. Can’t wait to see more.
Not sure it’s best to have no food in the house. That makes you go grocery shopping or out to get food when you’re hungry, which can lead to poor food choices.
I think you should take the 2 days and come see us. (o.k., maybe a little selfish of me.)
