Last Saturday was Julie’s bday, and Sunday was (as you probably know) Father’s Day … which really means that only a week after moving away, Andrew and I headed back up to SCV.
Although, really, Andrew had been there SEVERAL times over the week…
Anyway, Sunday we headed up to the Schuberts’ house and arrived RIGHT when Andy and Julie were heading out to the Farmers’ Market.
Which was fine with us – we just came to play with Hazel …
She seemed pretty excited to see both of us. … her tail wags so hard that her whole back end is wiggling, and she buries her face in your lap. It’s pretty funny … and then (apparently I got too close, because) she licked me right on the mouth.
Blech.
Crazy dog.
Daniel and Jenae got there soon after with Louis and we took the dogs into the front yard for some playing and hanging out …

Andrew’s bday is in a couple weeks …. Daniel and Jenae gave Andrew part of his birthday present early …

Um … and I’m not really sure what happened next, but Andrew ended up in Daniel’s arms, upside down, with his head in a bag ….

Daniel is this much bigger than Andrew from drinking lots and lots of milk…. take note.

After lunch, the 5 of us played ‘Egyptian War’ ….
Andrew and Daniel ended up as the only ones left playing and finally just quit w/o playing til the end …. I guess that’s what happens when you play War…

Can’t wait til we have a house with a yard so we can kidnap either one of these dogs …
… or better yet… you having your own dog in that backyard some day.
But I am always sad when dog-owners only have one dog… because there is nothing that makes me smile more than watching our Koda & Wiley wrestling and chasing each other every day. So fun and entertaining.
But then again, your dog will have lots of dog visitors… with lots of opportunities for playtimes.
I agree with Linda. I think we should get another dog for Hazel. So she has someone to play with. (besides us)
Thanks for coming over. It was a fun day for all of us. I love the pictures. I must have been inside when Andrew had his head in a bag. When those brothers are together you never know what will happen, but it is always funny.
