- I want to make these. For my house. Is that weird?
- Miranda’s been blogging her Europe travels – make sure to take a look.
- Also, Aaron started blogging again. After an extended hiatus.
- Andrew’s new commute (love this boy)
- Also, story about my dad running around like a maniac because he can. Kind of.
- And another story about my dad. And baby birds. And a chainsaw.
- I miss my dad. He makes me laugh.
- Seriously considering starting my own version of This American Life – getting Andrew to install ProTools on my computer and get me a microphone so I can interview people and record their stories. Maybe post them here?
- what do you think?
- Anyone have a story they want to share?
- I’ll have to go to Phoenix and spend a day with Grant
- Andrew went to a Green Day concert last week with the guys from work. I think he had a really good time. He was all talky about it the next morning.
- Bob Saget was there. Weird
- Andrew and I have NEW California phn#s … email me if you still need the new #s
- This means that now Andrew can get personal/business cards – for his ‘freelance’ work. I’m super proud of him.
- I had to remind Andrew that he wasn’t around the last time we moved and it will take MUCH longer and far more work than he’s thinking.
- Ugh. I hate moving. I hope there is only a couple more moves in my future.
- WE ARE MOVING THIS SUNDAY (6/14) – PLEASE CALL IF YOU CAN HELP
- it’s going to be such a nightmare
- moving from a bedroom+10×10 storage unit to a studio apt+storage unit
- which means I’m going to have to be in amongst the boxes and basically figure out what can go to the apt, and what can go to the storage unit AS the truck is being loaded (or unloaded)
- ugh. I hate living out of boxes.
- I miss my books.
- This is never going to work. I’m sure in a couple months I’ll think of something that I need for the kitchen or similar that is in the very back of the storage unit.
- We are having Lobster on Saturday, so hopefully that will gear us up for moving on Sunday.
- Andrew just said he hates taking the time to take a shower.
- Andrew had a 1 year anniversary dinner with his boss and coworkers the other night. Cute boys.
- Sunday – just me and Andy home. He had on the radio: Beatles in the morning, old timey Jazz in the afternoon. Awesome.
- It’s slightly ridiculous how excited I am for the Harry Potter LEGO video game. I can’t contain myself.
- Monday morning: Andrew woke me up at 530a to tell me about his dream of stabbing 2 people. Awesome. Then I was awake at 530a wishing I had gone to bed at 9p so I could really get up and start my day
- I cannot wait for the day that my body can be back on an early morning schedule.
- Lesley Gore songs running through my head
- I’m a little embarrassed that I want to see She’s All That again. Haven’t seen it since it came out. But, really, it’s only Matthew Lillard that I want to see.
- Andrew always takes good care of me
- Although, he did tell me the other day that my ‘Etcetera’ posts are his least favorite that I do. humph
- he says he likes the long stories better
- if any of these little Etcetera blurbits needs the whole story told, vote in the comments below and I’ll see what I can do
- recommending books is one of my favorite things to do

I hope there will be an entire post about Lobsterfest after we go on Saturday. Also, it'll take like 2 hours to get there
I'm with Andrew. I hate the time it takes to shower. I like the shower itself, but hate that I have to shower, get dressed, blow dry my hair, put on make-up, just to get out of the house. I wish I could just get up and go.
Also I agree with Andrew on some of your etcetera posts. Sometimes I wish I got a whole story on some of your bullet points.
Oh, and Andrew, let me know if you want Josh to design those business cards for you. I'm sure he'd be happy to do it gratis!
I'm with Andrew too… I hate taking the time to take a shower. i swear I take the quickest shower ever! I only shower every other day… and still don't like it.
Btw, I like the bullet points… but like your stories too. I like variety. Love your pics!
I agree on the showers. I loved it when I was a kid and spent all day every day at the lake in the summer, so rarely felt the need to take a shower. Is that gross to you? Didn't bother me a bit. It's amazing that we don't have a very stinky world with all the folks who feel the same.
What's the occasion for the Lobsterfest?
Sorry that we can't be there to help with the move, but I'm guessing you'll have some helpers from the Schubert clan. I can't wait to see the inside of your place.
Don't listen to Andrew – etcetera posts are my favorite. Yes, I really enjoy some of the others, but as a "genre," etcetera wins.
Sorry we can't help move (of course it's not like you asked, or gave us any notice), but K and S are working, and I'm taking L up to stay with C for a week in SLO.
(and please don't hang those paper flower things all over your house…)
I went through a period last year where I was sick of the routine of waking up every morning for a shower . . . . just thinking about the sheer numbers of hours of my life spent in showers just depressed the heck out of me. But I grew out of that phase and while I don't LOVE showers, I do enjoy not being dirty. Also, I don't think my hair can withstand not being washed at least once every 24 hours. My hair looks much better after being washed and blowdried than not washed.
