New Year's Eve

New Year’s Eve I had to work … but we had big plans to go to a friend’s party …

… we’re not really party-people if you haven’t noticed. I don’t like to drink, we’re not real good around a lot of people we don’t know. One year for New Year’s Eve I fell asleep at 930p. True story.

But for this, our first year back in CA, we got all fancy and party-attired and left around 9p to go to Maggie and Josh’s ….

When we arrived, Maggie called and said we could park in one of their spots (instead of guest parking in their complex, or on the street) … which I thought was super nice of them…. Then we got upstairs and she said, “So, I guess I should have told you guys that you’re the only ones coming.”

ha!

Awesome.

Everyone else they invited had other/better things to do, I guess.

Eleanor was already asleep by the time we got there, but I guess Maggie and Josh are almost as entertaining … :)

I think I’m going to let these photos speak for themselves…

We had a ton of fun. We laugh a lot when we’re with Maggie and Josh …

New Year’s Day we did nothing.

Read, watched 4 or 5 movies.

I started a couple photo projects …

… and that’s it.

It was lovely.

(THUS ENDS THE HOLIDAY PHOTOS)
