Busy long weekend.
Do you have any idea how many pictures I took?
too many. As usual.
Let’s begin with the fun stuff — Thanksgiving.
Andrew and I spent the morning playing Wii (my shoulder was actually sore Friday morning). … we did our Fitness Challenge, but also trained on some new activities…
Super fun. I love hanging out with my husband.
He spent a lot of the morning playing with Hazel.
Antagonizing Hazel, really.
Getting her to bite him.
Which is strange because he’s kind of allergic to her, especially when she bites him.
I told Julie I would make the mashed potatoes — pretty much one of the best parts of Thanksgiving …. and since Andrew hadn’t committed to any part of the dinner, I got him to help me.
In my family, it’s kind of a tradition that the guy peels the potatoes anyway.
aprons … we’re cute.
(Kim Gray made mine)
I have a knife behind Jenae’s back … weird, I know, but I was in the middle of cutting potatoes and didn’t want to set it down …
Hot apple cider. Spiced cider, in fact. With whipped cream and caramel …. mmmmmm ….
As I posted yesterday, Julie asked us to all write things we are thankful for on paper leaves. . ..
Schubert holiday tradition — Andy mowing the lawn.
Katie and Joe made ambrosia salad just for me … it’s a Hann family thing….
(this is what tripods are for)
my sweet boy … he makes me so happy …
Julie was doing Thanksgiving dishes for about 3 days …
After dinner we played a little bit of Traveling Pictionary before Daniel and Jenae had to leave … This is one of my drawings …. a tree and ice blocks, I think.
That night we went to Andrew’s work so his parents and sister (and Joe) could see the studio.
I’m so proud of Andrew. It’s so nice to see him in his studio – in his environment. He’s my favorite.
Once we got back, I pretty much went to bed right away. I had to get up at 4a on Friday morning to go to work …. ugh.
P.S. Check back Sat (12/7) for a little Traveling Pictionary video.
