I long ago lost count of the number of times I have gone driving to see Christmas lights … We used to do it every year with my family. Then, once I got older I definitely went once or twice with my church high school group. I’ve never been with Andrew, though. We should fix that.
We would pile in the car with something hot in a travel cup (mmmm…. ) and a stack of Christmas CDs (or tapes) to play.
There is/was always a couple streets in the area that we KNEW would just go all-out for Christmas. The type of street that there’s a REALLY long line of cars waiting to just drive down and back. So many lights, so much music, so many people …
And so so festive….
