Saturday night movie review

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Ok, you may have heard bad things about this movie. You may have even said these things yourself.

This movie was ridiculously cheezy.

Soo so cheesy.

And I loved it so much.

Here’s my rebuttal to all y’all who thought the new Indiana Jones was too cheesy:

Have you SEEN the originals?

All 3 of the original series are so ridiculous and so over the top (think about the ending of Raiders of the Lost Ark).

The fact that this new movie was Indiana Jones AND set in the 1950s (which is kind of sparkly clean and cheeseball in movies anyway) — it HAS to be cheesy. Or it wouldn’t be Indiana Jones.

The story was just OK. I understand George Lucas chose a sci-fi theme to reference all those sci-fi movies made in the 50s. But I thought Steven Speilberg’s direction/creation of the movie was just perfect.

Loved it.

I loved it as well. Plus the whole Area 51 and alien take on the city of gold was awesome!! Lemme just say this, when they were talking about the city of gold I said “Holy cow! another movie about a search for the city of gold, there better be some really great twist” and there was. Thank you LucasSpeilburg team.

I remember being a little bit tipsy and falling asleep watching this movie, so I will have to wait for you to buy it so I can watch it again
