got more stuff done this weekend

Saturday I pretty much spent ALL day backing up photos. To my 2 external harddrives and to discs. So there are 3 copies of all the pics. Just in case.

Also watched North by Northwest. Cary Grant. Alfred Hitchcock. Love it.
Also – feels so good to be done with the scary movies for awhile.

Andrew was able to come home a little early Sat night, and he stopped by the post office box on the way …

I LOVE surprise packages!

From my parents (mom): for our anniversary:

anniv-1

anniv-2

Only one of the mugs made it in one piece, but we’re still so grateful for all the goodies. Thanks mom!

Also Sat night: watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Check here for my review.

Sunday was the first day in a couple weeks Andrew and I have been able to spend together.

Movie in the morning, out for lunch, visited his great-grandpa, home for a nap and more movies.

Andrew had to leave around 730p …. went to a concert. And I had to make myself stay awake (so the daylight savings doesn’t throw me totally off and make me fall asleep at work)…. read some.

So, basically, uneventful. But, I did cross backing up photos off my to do list.

I’m glad most of it made it there. I thought about adding more packing materials while I was walking to the mailbox, but since it was already taped up, I changed my mind. I guess next time I’ll have to do a better job of packing.

Love you and miss you both!
