As if there weren't enough things I wanted to learn about …

I am totally into politics lately. For the last few months or so. And I’m going to try to keep up so I care enough to vote when it is not a presidential election.

I’ve added 2or3 political blogs to my reader and I keep updated on msnbc news, sprinkled with cnn and newsweek headlines.

This new interest, this practical, actually-has-something-to-do-with-my-life-unlike-true-crime interest, has inspired me to write for myself.

Not for the blog.
Maybe for the scrapbook.
Probably for my [possible] children.

I’m going to try to keep politics off the blog.

Which reminds me: I know some republicans are concerned that everyone just voted for Obama because he’s a rockstar/good speaker/African-American.

I didn’t.

I voted for the Democratic candidate because I support the Democratic platform.

email me if you want to discuss it further

    You’re funny. “[possible] children”

I went to a wedding shower Saturday for Bruce McNicol’s daughter and several old friends (that got married the same year we did) were carrying around their new grandbabies. Of course they asked when mine were coming. Do you have an answer for that question?

Love you and I am being VERY patient. :-) but I can’t wait till we get the news someday.

shouldn’t you sprinkle in some Fox news to get a broader perspective?

I’ll probably just talk to you about it in person rather than the email.
    hahahahah

I agree with Julie, you’re not getting a very balanced view.
But if you are all about the Democratic platform… then you will be well informed watching CNN.
I believe you when you say you voted for the candidate… but I keep hearing many that voted for the ‘color of his skin and not the content of his character’. So sad… cuz I thought we had gotten beyond that 60′s mentality.
