• the next time Andrew assists me on a wedding, we’re going to bring along a video camera and do a little behind-the-scenes video blogging. Pretty excited about it.
• Had a dream last week …. I don’t remember what it was about, but I woke up with the song “the jets” in my head (from West Side Story) … and the idea to take bridal party photos – of them dancing …. huh. Maybe someday if I do a wedding of drama kids. …
• emailed my personal real estate expert (Jay Haugen) about the advisability of buying now/soon …. we’ll see what he says.
• so so chilly here now … breaking out the long sleeves and slippers …. of course, 85% of my cold weather clothing is in storage … and no idea how to get to it. Which means you all are going to see me in the same clothes OVER and OVER again … more so than usual.
• Do you think the dry weather leads to more headaches?
• Talk with Angela the other night led to small brainstorming for photo project: she and her boyf all decked out/vamped up in 1950s attire, complete with apron and martini, photographed in her dad’s bomb shelter. Not a joke. I NEED this to happen….
• Andrew had a cold over the weekend … sad boy.
• Shooting a wedding here next year… yes. yes, I am.
• Boom boom boom. Last week edited and uploaded 3 (count ‘em 3!) portrait sessions (plus the beginnings of the wedding photos)…. in between going to work and hanging out with family in town. Plugging away at the rest of wedding (more photos than all those portrait sessions combined) … and the family reunion…. and all the personal photos I have been taking in between.

• In honor of October, I present the top of our Netflix queue. Trying to get as many scary movies in before Oct 31 as possible.

• Change in weather = constant chapped lips, dry skin and static-y hair. Better than driving in the snow.
• I love the aspect of my photocart that allows people to choose favorites. Even if you don’t buy any prints, I still want to know which photos you like.

• Gas was down to $3.39 on Monday! Hurrah!
• Monday morning – rushing around like a crazy person. Burning discs, writing thank you notes, printing labels. All to get 3 packages ready for shipping. Arrive at the post office to find them closed for Columbus Day.
