Daniel Paul Photography

21 August 2008 by Amy 3 Comments

Some of you guys may not know it, but my brother-in-law Daniel is pretty cool.

Just last week, he went in for an interview at the photo lab at COC, and was pretty much hired on the spot. We’re so so proud of him. He is now able to quit his job at Michael’s (and won’t have to live through another Christmas season there).

Just barely 19 and Daniel is able to really – actually – start his career in photography.

(Unlike some people who can’t really figure out what they really want to do even after getting a Masters degree.)

Plus, Daniel will be starting an internship soon (on the weekends, I believe) with an established commercial photographer.

You may be able to tell from the images below, but Daniel shoots film almost exclusively. Plus he recently purchased a medium format camera.

Contact him if you have questions about his equipment.

Even though he shoots primarily landscapes, and I shoot primarily people, I can’t help but admire the beauty in some of these shots. …

Borrowed from Daniel for exhibition here. Please scroll through all of them and enjoy.

The bridge picture actually stunned me… like I was scared at the enormity of the image or something… seriously breathtaking.
