Tuesday
Happy anniversary to us!
Yesterday was a good good day.
Monday night I got an email asking about shooting a wedding 9/26/08. Makes me feel all warm and happy. I love confirmation that yes, I can shoot pictures that someone wants to buy. And then Tuesday morning I also got an inquiry about shooting photos at our church (what he said was hang around the church next month and shoot a billion photos). Good day for teegan photography. Mark also wants me to edit the Torrent newsletter. … I don’t know what it entails but I love to edit.
Tuesday being our ANNIVERSARY I was already in a good mood …
and then …
It was slow at work, and I spent a lot of time putting together my photographer contracts. I’m quite proud of them … full of all sorts of conditions that you don’t want to forget when you’re hired to shoot someone’s wedding (i.e. I am not responsible for missing time or pictures when the bride is late). I feel really good. A good, important step in my quest to building a wedding photography business. Plus I’m super smart, and put my logo on it AND made the files (one for each package) all .pdf files so they can’t be altered. … love it. … yay me.
Plus, my boss is awesome and let us use his radio so we could listen to the Suns’ game at 5p (yes, I still had to do work). And my Sunnies did not let me down. Not only did they win (all I really asked for), but they won SO well. All dressed players got to play (I have a soft spot in my heart for the bench after last year. Specifically Sean Marks and the rookies). AND 8 Suns players got in double figures … good game. … good team. … so proud.
So, I get home from work and Andrew and I leave to go on our date. I love my Andrew. I’m never anything but happy when I’m with him. True, he does annoy me, but I’m much happier being annoyed by him than anyone else
…
We headed over to the Trunk Space. They’re this awesome tiny venue/art gallery and they have a real old-timey (think 1970s) black and white photo booth. It is so amazing. I really wanted to take so many photos. Andrew really wants to make an effort to use this photo booth often. I love it. And as we left, one of the guys at the door called ‘Happy Anniversary’ because Andrew had called ahead to make sure we could use it/they were open. … sweet. (I’ll scan the image later) …
Then off to Joe’s Crab Shack. I love seafood. I got it from my parents (mom). Andrew likes it just ok. Really he prefers something that comes with salsa. But I won a gift certificate from work, and this was my choice. Yummy food. Good times. We talked about our Sunnies, and the Bulls game Andrew is going to, and his school, and my photography. I love that we can be together and always talk and encourage each other. …. or rag on each other and have fun teasing. I love that I’m married to my best friend.
My best friend who gave me terrible news on our anniversary!!!
He emails me at work to tell me he will be going to the Suns/Bulls game next week and sitting in a suite! …. what?! ? without me? I’m the Suns fan! I should be the one invited … alas, no. a tragic moment in an otherwise lovely day.
After dinner we headed over to Dippin’ dots (Andrew’s choice). Right before they closed. And the 2 kids running it were very nice about the fact that we barely made it….
Then Andrew had to go to bed so he could be at school all night. … My darling boy signed up for all these sessions and things from 140a – 9a … crazy kid.
My crazy kid.

That day sounds so lovely!! I am so happy that you guys are so cool together!! I am glad your day went well.
lovely.
sounds so nice… happy anniversary
Happy Anniversary! Sounds like an almost perfect day. How did Andrew get a ticket for the game?
