Something kind of cool – Michelle has been editing all of our 3000ish photos from the wedding on Sat, and she said there are several instances when we are both shooting the same thing, but she got the top and I got the bottom … i.e. the photo of the champagne bottle I posted … Michelle got the same moment, but the groom’s face …. happy little coincidence.
Andrew and I have been granting ourselves small indulgences the last few nights, mostly to take advantage of the few nights we have left together before my second job (Barnes and Noble) sucks my life away. ….
Mon night Baskin Robbins. … then back home for ‘Carnivale’ (good series, by the way). …
Tues night we went to Borders so I could spend my gift certificate (I love bookstores. …. love them. Although, I was disturbed they had 8 copies of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, and only 1 copy of The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald. Surely that can’t be right). …. bought a couple books and went to Dippin’ Dots…. which is – for those of you who don’t have small children and therefore don’t know – ice cream in tiny little balls. … I don’t know how else to describe it…. that may have been the highlight of Andrew’s week … he really thinks Dippin Dots are the most amazing thing, and thanked me for going about 4 times that night … bless his heart.
Last night my mom took me to PF Changs. … so yummy… thanks mom!
Andrew is doing a big presentation in one of his classes on — wait, before I tell you, just know that he could have chosen anything. …literally. … not even music related. He could have chosen anything from basketball shoes, the iPhone, to the Beatles’ haircuts. … He’s doing his presentation on bands that have been influenced by books (i.e. Obadiah Parker is the name of a character in a short story) …. everyday I discover a new reason I am so glad to be married to Andrew …

Lastly, if anyone cares, USA basketball (w/ Amare) is currently kicking butt. They beat Venezuela by 43 points. … nice.

Lots of awesome shots! I like the closer up ones of Mat standing in the stairwell with his guitar case open. I also like the B&W of Andrew playing pool. Lots of other great ones too.
