I have to work feverishly for the next few hours and — at the absolute minimum — finish my powerpoint presentation for tomorrow …. I also should read a couple things and do some laundry, but that can wait if it has to ….
I’m trying to get all this done so I can go scrapping this afternoon …. I hope I hope ….
Oh, and it’s sooo beautiful out this morning … overcast and a little chilly … we have all our doors and 1 window open to the weather today … there’s such a small window when we can comfortably do that …
And, my bro-hammer may be stationed in Phoenix for a couple months … intriguing … I hope it happens …
AND!! I had a(nother) wierd stressful dream last night…. I dreamt that Pastor David Kaneversky (from our church in CA) ATE our snake … Janice … live .. and I was so angry … you can’t just eat a snake that belongs to someone!
wiered I tell you …

Really quickly, though … here’s a couple pics from last ngiht …. we went down to Tucson to the cornmaze and Buckelew Farms
that’s an aerial pic from the website if the maze … it was very …. strange … we didn’t take any flashlights so it was almost pitch black … and the map was pretty hard to read even when we had light … but we pretty much kept walking forward and eventually found our way out …
made me think about Lombardi’s Ranch in Saugus … field trips there every year, and the scarecrow contest and picking out our pumpkins …. is that place still open? anybody? After going through the maze I got some fresh hot corn on the cob (all wrapped in foil so I can carry it around) … so so good. …
There was a haunted maze and a regular maze … we went through the (mostly) normal one, but heard the sacrificial drums and screaming and all of the haunted maze …

I know this pic looks essentially black … that’s how dark it was w/o flashlights … there were big floodlights on one side of the maze, but if you were on the other side, or if the corn was too high you didn’t get any light … hence this picture … it has even been lightened by photoshop … 10 points if you can tell me who it’s a picture of …
Ah yes … I see it … the corn …
Finally escaping the maze … I was kind of in the lead, and all of a sudden I realized we were on the edge of the maze on the exit side … so, if we kept as close to the edge as we could we’d be out … and then all of a sudden there’s a long long long straight path w/ the exit at the end … siad floodlights pictured here …

Same pciture w/ a flash … my camera worked so hard last night to produce light … I’m so proud …

It looks like you had fun. I’m pretty sure Lombardi’s is still open. I hope you get to scrap today and I am looking forward to seeing you and Andrew this weekend.
Oh my goodness, I look crazy presenting the corn… Oh boy. I had a lot of fun last night. I love being lost and having silly fights with you. You’re such a mom. love you!
did it make you feel like you were in harry potter.. going through the maze and then the straight shot toward the lights? did any roots reach out and grab you? maybe thats what was in the haunted maze…
